Dungeon Rep is a fitness game that counts your push-ups using the camera. Your privacy matters, and the app is built to keep your data on your device.
Dungeon Rep shows no advertising, does no third-party tracking, and we never sell or share your data. The only information that leaves your device is what the world leaderboard publishes and the anonymous install signal of our measurement partner, both described below. Everything else stays on your device.
If you are signed in to iCloud, the app publishes your chosen display name, level, class, title, push-up counts (weekly, monthly and all-time), current streak, personal bests (best session, reps per minute, best combo) number of weekly and of monthly top-3 finishes and completed achievements to the app's public CloudKit database, so the rankings and player profiles can be shown to every player. This information is publicly visible inside the app. Your Apple ID and email address are never published. Please do not put your real name or any personal detail in your display name — the app warns you about this when you choose it.
The leaderboard runs on Apple's CloudKit; data is stored in Apple's infrastructure under our developer account, and is kept until you delete it (see below) or the app stops operating.
In the app, open Profile ▸ Delete account. This permanently deletes your saved progress on the device and removes your entries from the world leaderboard. You can also email us and we will delete your leaderboard entries for you.
Display names are written by players. If you see an offensive name in the rankings, tap the row (or the player's profile) and choose Report this name, which opens a pre-filled email; you can also write to dungeonrep@gmail.com with the name. We remove reported names and can block repeat offenders.
If you install Dungeon Rep after seeing one of our ads, our measurement partner Kochava receives an anonymous install signal so we can tell which ad brought you here. This runs on Apple's own SKAdNetwork: the report is sent by iOS itself, it is aggregated and anonymous, and it contains no name, no account and no advertising identifier. The app does not read your advertising identifier (IDFA), does not ask you to allow tracking, and shows no ads. Kochava's own privacy manifest declares what it collects as app interaction data, used for analytics, not linked to your identity and not used for tracking.
The camera is used only to detect your body pose and count push-ups in real time. Video is processed live on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework. Frames are never recorded, saved, or uploaded.
Your progress, characters, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you choose Sign in with Apple, it is used only to identify your account; Apple may provide your name and a private relay email, which stay on your device and are not shared with us or any third party.
Optional in-app purchases (Dungeon Rep Premium) are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We never see your payment information.
The app is rated 9+ for mild fantasy violence. On first launch it asks for the player's year of birth. That answer stays on the device: it is never sent to us or to anyone else.
Players under 13 play in private mode: nothing about them is published to the world leaderboard (no display name, score, class, stats or achievements), and the install measurement described below is not started. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If a player who had already published a leaderboard entry answers that they are under 13, that entry is deleted.
A parent can also delete an account and its leaderboard entries at any time from Profile ▸ Delete account, or by writing to dungeonrep@gmail.com.
Dungeon Rep is for entertainment and general fitness. Warm up, use good form, and stop if you feel pain. Consult a doctor before starting any exercise program.
